I publicly and repeatedly said that immigration would not and could not change, I repeatedly said that there would be an economic shock and that people should be prepared for the ramifications of their choices, but of course that's not what you want people to read about. You, like the media at large, are vocal about the failings of the leave camp, whilst simultaneously undermining it. You now have a REMAIN conservative leader voted in, even though the PM stood down to allow a leave supporter to lead. REMAIN did that, not Leave. You now have a Labour party that wants to force its leader out because he wasn't a strong enough supporter of remain. REMAIN are doing that, not leave. Remain is currently tearing this country apart at the seams because it didn't get its way, like some freakish, ill-begotten infant, intent on destruction of those who would oppose it, but you will no doubt see it differently... which, as I always pointed out, was a choice I respected. Let me ask everyone who reads this blog a question: If leave marched on London to force the government to enact article 50 tomorrow, would you be in favour of the military stepping in to stop them?.. If your answer was yes, you just approved a coup against the democratic people of this country and deserve all that that brings. If not, what exactly is it that you are fighting against..?Steve Anoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3789119.post-1931296028559448002016-07-11T16:53:00.266+01:002016-07-11T16:53:00.266+01:00But you know as well as I, patriotism is a word; a...But you know as well as I, patriotism is a word; and one that generally comes to mean either my country, right or wrong, which is infamous, or my country is always right, which is imbecile.<br />Patrick O'Brian, Master and CommanderAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3789119.post-14539274424279542912016-07-11T06:34:05.085+01:002016-07-11T06:34:05.085+01:00Yes sorry the May Leave / Remain was an error, I&#...Yes sorry the May Leave / Remain was an error, I've changed it over now.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02692673546597344281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3789119.post-81843223501701768022016-07-10T09:26:53.708+01:002016-07-10T09:26:53.708+01:00Agree, nationalism is a dangerous game.
