Sgt Major shouting at recruits..."Today the Captain will be lecturing on Keats, and I bet not one of you ignorant buggers knows what a Keat is."
I have not got Milligan's war memoirs to hand, so I might have slightly misquoted this line.
The photograph shows the grave of Spike Milligan in the grounds of St Thomas, Winchelsea, East Sussex. The epitaph reads "Duirt mé leat go raibh mé breoite", Irish for "I told you I was ill."
