Super Ireland

England have been involved in two amazing games of cricket in the World Cup, the thrilling tie with India, and now having been routed by a magnificent Irish side.  England had built a strong total with KP, Trott and Bell all scoring well to post an imposing 327, surely well beyond the ability of the Irish ?

Notts batsman Kevin O'Brien didn't think so as he set about hunting down the English total, on his way taking the record for fastest WC century as he smashed a wonderful 113 from 63 balls and propelling his team to a well deserved win, a win which was also the biggest successful run chase in World Cup history.

England were all at sea as yet again their bowlers failed to penetrate an aggressive batting line up, and with the Windies and the powerful South Africa to come, England cannot afford to have their bowling continue in this fashion.

This morning though it is all about one man, Kevin O'Brien and his bizarre hair, well done that man, I don't enjoy watching my side lose, but I enjoy watching really great cricket, and O'Brien's was a brave and brilliant display.
