Helloooooo Australia

A tiny urn filled with dirt is now the sole property of the England cricket team, I am a very happy man.

(Going out now for more red wine and grappa having spent the last hour trying to explain the importance of a game of cricket between England and Australia to a German living in Italy, not easy.)

You go on OS holidays during the Ashes?!?!? I'm sorry, but your opinions on the result are now invalid.

  2. A bit of poor planning I agree, but many thanks to my Father-in-Law who sent constant texts of how the test match was doing.

  3. Congratulations. Really it was all downhill once Australia couldn't get that last wicket in Cardiff. And 160 in the first innings at The Oval was the final nail.
England played best when it mattered. Well done. See you in Oz in a couple of years.
