Another British football club looks to be in trouble as George Osborne, assistant manager of Blues City FC denied rumours that the club was about to be bought out by a Russian Oligarch.

"Blues City FC are British and proudly British," he said. "And there is no way that we are going to sell out to Oleg Deepocketski or anyone else."

Another big British club to sell out to foreign interests recently was Labour Town, but whilst Labour were bought out by Eccleston Tobacco for £1m, it is thought that the selling price of cash strapped Blues City may be as as little as £50,000.
